LOL<br /><br /> <strong>lemon soap/pimple soap</strong>- which I bought from my derma, uhhm.. not effective for me<br /><br /> <strong>maxipeel</strong>- i didnt like the peeling and redness, it just dried the upper layer of my skin<br /><br /> <strong>panoxyl</strong>- wasnt effective also<br /><br /> <strong>benzac</strong>- hmmm... it just dried my skin also<br /><br /> <strong>tretinoin(retin A)</strong> - effective indeed.<br /><br /> my fave is the acne lotion which I bought at watsons medicine counter. I forgot the brand already.I think it has tretinoin also and it dried my pimples fast.<br /><br />Right now, I am using eurocin if there are any zits, I wash my face using celeteque, and I take vit. E thrice a week. And I must say that my face cleared up!<br /><br /><strong>tips!</strong><br /><br /><strong>drink lots of water. </strong><br />-Ive notice that zits also appear when I dont drink enough water the whole day.<br /><strong>wash your face 2-3 times a day but dont overdo it.<br />Avoid using heavy makeups or putting too much of it.<br />dont touch your face! or just make sure your hands are always clean.<br />wash your cosmetic brushes regularly<br />Use a noncomedogenic makeup and facial wash.</strong><br /><br />Anyway, these are just solely based on my <strong>experiences.</strong>pixiefairyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00191101153335101912noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6228930497650040074.post-53860590802597451662010-01-06T20:39:00.000-08:002010-01-06T21:07:46.308-08:00something to be thankful about! It's been almost a month since I last visited my site. Well , what can I say it's a New year and once again it's time for those new year's resolutions to be started! As for me, I didn't plan any. I'm tired of planning my life ahead of time. yeah I know some will raise they're eyebrows. I know the importance of planning your goals ahead of time. Last year, I made lots of resolutions for the new year and wrote it in my journal, and guess what ? I accomplished only 1 of them! That is to passed the board exams. My plans includes learning to drive a car, getting a full time job that I love etc... I felt mixed emotions realizing that I was not able achieve all of these. Last year, I spent almost half of the year trying to get a job. Yes, God did give me opportunities to practice my nursing career but I was too hesitant and choosy.<br /><br />Year 2009 was a year of struggling for most of us nurses. But what I realized is that, last year was a good journey for me. I learned a lot and I must say that I'm thankful to God for those experiences. Just remember this quote:<br /><br /><span class="sqq"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 51, 204);">“</span><a style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 51, 204);" class="sqq" href="http://thinkexist.com/quotation/sometimes-struggles_are_exactly_what_we_need_in/8915.html">Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.</a><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 51, 204);">”</span><br /><br />And for this year, I'm gonna live my life happily! I will be thankful for whatever it is that God will give me. I will use every opportunity that will come my way. I will not let failures be a hindrance on reaching my goals . <br /><br /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="sqq"><span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Good luck to all of us! xoxo</span></span></span><br /></div><span class="sqq"><br /><br /></span>pixiefairyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00191101153335101912noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6228930497650040074.post-16223865053066223482009-12-08T21:26:00.000-08:002010-02-03T18:55:04.038-08:00just like candies!<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixKnYK9vrxijwGTVcC0GF39QOAr4pG03ZcRaiRy450GvhPZBKm3dwEYoet7I7b18ifF1wazqtFMink8UIC-xrU9YUy2ln469B_lTfZLPfACVn_AWO97kX99LL-lgu7N1gTbaOwyqv0QvGF/s1600-h/P241109_12.03.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixKnYK9vrxijwGTVcC0GF39QOAr4pG03ZcRaiRy450GvhPZBKm3dwEYoet7I7b18ifF1wazqtFMink8UIC-xrU9YUy2ln469B_lTfZLPfACVn_AWO97kX99LL-lgu7N1gTbaOwyqv0QvGF/s400/P241109_12.03.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5413106071280505650" border="0"></a><br /></div><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;"><font size="5">here's a glimpse of my make ups<br /><br /><font size="2">most of them are given by my sisters<br /><br /><br /></font></font></div><font size="5"><br /></font><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz8fzujWb_DUiGK4WYmjFkLtdSEXglByxqChKdnusa2YyjfGk7BZXva2NsQu6MQiccpbBcHYjZzaOH-jiwcO44ce4aG-eCirW6Fx7l7GN-5NZzF9_AuVLnuJHqQEXRdKCeLoo09lU2CdX_/s1600-h/P241109_12.05_%5B01%5D.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz8fzujWb_DUiGK4WYmjFkLtdSEXglByxqChKdnusa2YyjfGk7BZXva2NsQu6MQiccpbBcHYjZzaOH-jiwcO44ce4aG-eCirW6Fx7l7GN-5NZzF9_AuVLnuJHqQEXRdKCeLoo09lU2CdX_/s400/P241109_12.05_%5B01%5D.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5413107396810225906" border="0"></a><br /></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">lipsticks and lip gloss set<br />im such a lip gloss addict! cant live without em!<br />I like using smackers gloss bec. of their fruity yummy flavors.<br /><br /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsTyl5XHhkOFnAyI0IWVZ98I0QYMUtrRcA268mPL1uyV5Ki-NVlpftBwSZ71bM2s-56RPZrRj5u8BdoZLgeKm91xKKhxD9Cfi-TNkvsi_SuSYkDUvARmd_LDOul6_7J72fymnHZ-ZObJ7F/s1600-h/P241109_12.07.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsTyl5XHhkOFnAyI0IWVZ98I0QYMUtrRcA268mPL1uyV5Ki-NVlpftBwSZ71bM2s-56RPZrRj5u8BdoZLgeKm91xKKhxD9Cfi-TNkvsi_SuSYkDUvARmd_LDOul6_7J72fymnHZ-ZObJ7F/s400/P241109_12.07.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5414365820224434546" border="0"></a><br /><br /><br /><font style="font-weight: bold;">blush hush</font> <font style="font-weight: bold;">I usually use bronze or orange tones because they compliment my skin tone</font> <font style="font-weight: bold;">I also love using cream based blush on</font> <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></div>pixiefairyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00191101153335101912noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6228930497650040074.post-56556544926635352612009-12-08T20:54:00.000-08:002010-01-25T20:26:16.855-08:00my PAL experience<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">I never thought that they will call me for an interview since I passed my resume last July. I actually have forgotten about it already. So here it goes, they've been calling and messaging me for an interview since October. But then, I wasn't as interested anymore because that time they called me for an interview I got these bedbugs bite all over my body and I know that they are more strict than other airlines.<br /><br />A month later, they called back again for an interview schedule. I decided to give it a try and I was scheduled last Dec. 7 </span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">I went there around 12:30 and there were around 16 applicants. We were asked to fill up a form and after that Ms. Agnes explained to us the qualifications they were looking for, benefits of a cabin crew and the process you will undergo once you passed the impact interview.</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;"><br /><br />Here's what happened, we were asked to speak in front and say something about yourself. ( anything you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, interests etc..) After that you'll be asked to walk towards them, turn around, then they are going to check your arms and teeth ( not just the front teeth but they will asked you to open your mouth to check whether you have gaps or decayed tooth). And that's it.</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">At the end, only three got in and unfortunatley, I was not accepted.<br /><br />In my opinion it was due to that bedbugs bite which left marks on my right leg because they asked me what it was. =(</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Still Im thankful for the experience because I learned something new again!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">My Advise to those who would like to apply:</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">be confident as much as possible but don't sound boastful.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">make sure you don't have hideous pimples or big scars</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Dress to impress and look good.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">be poised while talking in front of them</span><br /><br /><br /> </div>pixiefairyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00191101153335101912noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6228930497650040074.post-34140278493138679262009-11-28T23:16:00.000-08:002009-11-28T23:33:48.101-08:00my christmas wishlist!=)<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixcXKxd8qgl27-XpuVHufrCasqMupVb8dzqa4OtNYGTdORyck2tHE2pw_6e_0kROM-ko_v0SSS1ylf0Vh1sTLofnrEYo9ln-jbxhjpAerrpeQ41N3lIMdLzFIXYOeiBTRJAy8ywfGBMlEM/s1600/771752539_e07fd62fa2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixcXKxd8qgl27-XpuVHufrCasqMupVb8dzqa4OtNYGTdORyck2tHE2pw_6e_0kROM-ko_v0SSS1ylf0Vh1sTLofnrEYo9ln-jbxhjpAerrpeQ41N3lIMdLzFIXYOeiBTRJAy8ywfGBMlEM/s400/771752539_e07fd62fa2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409422757256624306" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">set of mac make ups. how i wish =)<br />it's like candy land to me. It should look natural and match your skin.In order to find a "perfect match" for your foundation you must test it on your face. Testing it on your wrist is a “no, no” because your wrist has a different color and undertone than your face. Also, other parts of your body may tan easier or be exposed to the sun more often than your face. Make sure the lighting in the store is close to natural light. Ask for several opinions and test a couple of color shades so you can compare.<br /><br /></span></div><h3 style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;" class="tipTitle"><span style="font-size:130%;">Types of Foundation and Their Uses</span></h3><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-size:130%;">There are several formulas and types of foundations on the market. The big difference is consistency.<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">Powder foundation </span>is a smooth, dry formula that is common for oily skin types. The powder helps absorb oil and keeps your face looking smooth and fresh. Dry skin types usually don't like the powder because it tends to have a drying effect and leaves flakes.<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">Cream foundation</span> has a thick consistency, which is common for dry skin types. It provides moisture and adds luster to dry, tired skin. This type of foundation is often used by middle-aged and older women who like something to "fill-in" the lines. Cream foundation tends to be heavier and provide more coverage. It's best to use a moisturizer first before applying foundation.<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">Stick foundation </span>is similar to the cream foundation as far as texture. The "stick" design provides a convenient way to transport your make up without an awkward bottle. This formula is often used for touch up jobs and spot treatments.<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">Liquid foundation</span> is used for all skin types. It is a "universal" formula. You can purchase liquid foundations that are oil-free or non-clogging. This type of foundation is versatile and can come in different coverage levels.<br /><br />If you know your skin type and know the coverage level you are most comfortable with then you can decide the formula of foundation that will best fit your individual needs. Remember you need a good canvas to start with so use your three step skin care regime (cleanse, tone, moisturize) before applying foundation.<br /></span></div>pixiefairyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00191101153335101912noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6228930497650040074.post-41502531165266190542009-11-15T20:12:00.000-08:002010-02-03T18:53:11.246-08:00diet tips1.
